Service Description
This add-on provides a button in Thunderbird to create Microsoft Teams meeting links using Microsoft Graph. It acts only as a client that connects you to Microsoft’s services.
No Warranty / As-Is
The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. Use at your own risk.
No Support / Availability
There is no guaranteed support, uptime, or availability. The service may be changed or discontinued at any time without notice.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Provider is not liable for any damages, losses, or claims arising from use of the service.
Third-Party Services
The service relies on Microsoft services and APIs. The Provider is not responsible for Microsoft’s availability, security, or behavior.
Changes
These terms may change at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
Privacy Statement
Microsoft Graph Permissions
- "Have full access to user calendars" (Calendars.ReadWrite) (Calendar schedule): Used to create a calendar event and attach the online meeting information. Event title, start/end time, location, and description are sent to Microsoft Graph.
- "Read and create user's online meetings" (OnlineMeetings.ReadWrite) (Direct meeting): Used to create a Teams meeting via Microsoft Graph. Meeting subject and start/end time are sent to Microsoft Graph.
- "Maintain access to data you have given it access to" (offline_access) (All modes): Used to refresh access tokens so you do not have to sign in repeatedly. Refresh/access tokens are stored locally in Thunderbird.
- "Sign users in" (openid) and "View users' basic profile" (profile) (All modes): Used to identify the signed-in account (name, username, tenant) and display account status. The ID token is stored locally in Thunderbird.
Summary
The Provider does not access, store, or transmit your data to any server controlled by the Provider.
Data Flow
All data is sent directly between the add-on and Microsoft services (Microsoft Graph and Microsoft login). The Provider does not receive or process your data.
Data Storage
The add-on stores authentication tokens and settings locally within your Thunderbird profile. The Provider does not collect logs or analytics.
Third-Party Processing
Microsoft processes your data according to its own privacy policies.
Your Control
You can revoke access at any time in your Microsoft account’s app permissions.
